Spring RTS Engine

So yeah, my favorite game in the world has been released for the Xbox Live Arcade... yes RezHD is a version of REZ (which debuted on the the Dreamcast and made use of the "Transvibrator" a USB vibrating... stick... when it was re-released on the PS2) that's been updated for the XBox 360.

Now, unfortunately I do not own the game on any of the systems it has come out on and do not own an XBox 360 to get it now so you will have to enjoy it in my stead (I beat every level on every difficulty and game-mode on the PS2 version so... not that huge a loss).

Who will like REZ?

People who like space shooters.
People who like music (especially techno).
People who likes Amplitude, Frequency, Lumies... DDR, Guitar Hero...
People who like it when their controllers vibrate to the onscreen action while also being coupled to the music which is presented in 5.1 surround and if you hook up 4 controllers and place them around your body they will all vibrate at different parts of the music so that you really feel like you are in the action.
People who liked TRON due to the similar visual style
People who like Dune because one of the songs in the game is called has the phrase "Fear is the Mind Killah"
People who like Interactive Art.
People who care more about gameplay then graphics
People who care more about graphics then gameplay
People who happen to own a 360 and have 10$ and want to spend it on something that will change their lives.
People who like to collect achievements and need to get another game so that they can get more of them.
Any self-respecting gamer.
Anyone (with the possible exception of my wife because it stole me from her for a couple weeks back in college when my roomate got it for the PS2)

ANyways, to summarize... best game ever has been IMPROVED and released for 10$ on the XBox 360 Live Aracade.

Hmm. Is it worth $60? The other $50 is for a router so I can hook my 360 up to the neterweb.

Well... it's not worth the $400ish it would cost for me to get an XBox 360 AND the game... $60 bucks is quite a bit for the game but I'm frankly surprised when people have XBox 360s and aren't taking them online... isn't that the whole point?

Well, the 360 was a gift, and I didn't have a router just sitting around. I use the built in airport hub in my desktop to broadcast wireless to the laptops around the apartment. I'd just use the wireless for the 360 as well... except that the 360 wireless adapter costs as much as a proper router, so I would just get the router and use cables for the higher speeds.

I thought you were saying Earth Defence Force got a pricedrop...
