Spring RTS Engine

I just watched the pilot of Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and while its not great, it isn't bad either. My opinion so far: it'll be interesting enough for me to follow, and could end up better than Terminator 3 [which I felt was too stereotypical to distinguish itself]. What are your opinions?

Also, the next Terminator movie casts Christian Bale as John Connor, and neither Arnold nor Claire Danes from T3 will be returning...

it was awful. The "acting" is worse than my school's theater group, the special effects were laughable, and the story isnt that good either.

Sounds good to me.

I like Bale thus far.

Anything beyond t2 was and is shit.
T3 was just a gimmick to make money without really trying and just like many hollywood movies it had no soul.
It really is impossible to compare T1,T2 with anything later made like T3 the tv series or T4 which im sure is gona be shit.
T1 imo was the best,T2 was cool and most importantly they were all written and directed by james cameron,it was his project from start to finish.

the Chronicles pilot wasn't half bad. I actually liked it =]

I watched Ep2, and thought it has potential. The acting needs to be better though, especially Glau's portrayal of Cameron, but that probably has a lot to do with the writing itself.

I know Glau can be good (Firefly and Serenity), but then again, Firefly and Serenity were written by Joss Whedon, the King of witty Dialog and Lord of Cool.
