Spring RTS Engine

Hello.

I install spring in gentoo, following the manual.
The las time I install spring it works, but no this time.

I get this error:

Content error: Could not load startpicture from file bitmaps/loadpictures/start1.jpg

¿Anyone knows whats the problem?

I restart and now works

I have a similar issue too. I just update my hardware for my
linux system. I've just installed the new release of Sabayon
Linux 3.5 Loop 1.

I installed per the instructions for Gentoo ... The game starts
and right after selecting the mod the game exits complaining
it can't find some jpg files ?

Is there a resolution ?
