DF Bloodline / Succession game

I was wondering if there was any interest in running a Dwarf Fortress bloodline / succession game for Spring players (and anybody else who lurks on these forums). For those who don't understand what a bloodline game is, this is how things work:
- Each player manages the fortress for one year (until the beginning of the next spring)
- Players keep a detailed diary (usually in pseudo-character) of eventful stuff that happens on their watch, with plenty of screenshots.
- Post the diary and screenshots on the forum when your turn is over, and upload the save file for the next person in line
Is anyone interested? I think we'd need a minimum of 4 participants to make it interesting.

I have never managed to keep my dwarves alive for more than one year.

I like things about the new version, but it isn't as fun. Spending 4 years in a fortress just to find out asside from a few neat above ground things there is no iron or anything else interesting just really ruins the game for me.
In the old game at least fun stuff kept happening now and then to break up the monotony of micromanaging fortress growth. But right now the balance between absolutely disastrous occurances and absolutely boring occurances is horribly askew. on 80% of maps nothing will happen, assuming you can ever make a marginal survival, and on the other 20% 3 dragons will attack and throw your 7 dwarfs into an aquafier of lava in the first year.

Looks like there's not enough interest for now

Personally, I never played the 2D version, so I'm not sure what I'm missing out on. But I find the 3D version to be quite enjoyable. I was up until 2am playing it yesterday!

The 2D version was very similar except for several notable differences.
A: It was just one big Z pass
B: The mountain starting zones weren't random, while on the down side this meant less discovery, it also gave you a 100% chance of a well paced and interesting game.
C: Cave river > Chasm > Lava > Demon pits, each with it's own threats, you got to know what you were going to face very well.
