Spring RTS Engine

Is there anyone can tell me how to install AAI v0.86 (or any AI) on Linux, please. because I get a lot of errors when I start spring with this AI :
GlobalAI1 : Failed to initialize AAI! Please view ai log for further information and check if AAI supports this mod.

I have never can install correctly an AI on Linux, it's really a big problem because on Windows all AI works very well.

there should be an RAI .so file available on UF, may not be one for 0.76 yet but there definitely is for 0.75

it'll not be long before linux versions are available if not. Come to think of it there will definitely be a KAI .so file because I think kloot develops in linux...

actually looking on UF there doesn't seem to be any files up yet, try posting in the KAI forum in the AI section. Kloot is your best person to speak to as he maintains KAI and did the linux compilation of RAI for the last version

What lobby are you using?

I use springlobby but I run AAI in standalone too.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. The download listed in the AAI 0.86 forum thread only has a windows dll. For linux, there needs to be and AAI.so file either in /usr/lib/spring/AI/Bot-Libs/ or in $HOME/.spring/AI/Bot-Libs/

I looked around for the AAI source code, and can't find it. I'd be happy to compile it from source code if it was available. (and assuming it builds on a Ubuntu 7.10 system)

It's in the Spring SVN (and Spring source tarball).
