it looks like the game was started and then died around 2004

it features some what taish looking units.

yeah they seam to have drooped off the face of the earth.

I did not know this was related to mechrts. I remember looking at mechrts before but i guess i did not put 2 and 2 together.

Do you really need all these unnecessary edge loops? This looks like someone hit the smoth button and forgot to remove tons of edges.

i wonder how far the units gotten or could it be made into a TA mod... but i guess with author gone its hard to tell

They were aiming for a commercial product, but apparently its dead yeah :(
Too bad because it looked promising, with customizable units etc..

After they announced they would go commercial they updated the page fairly frequently for awhile.. and then the updates became rare and eventually the web page disappeared altogether. It was machrts.com if I remember correctly, not the sourceforge page which is older. I still wonder what happened to them, maybe they were able to get jobs at a major gaming company..

Uninspired, poorly optimised models, un-professional textures.

I applaud the effort, but I honestly can't praise the execution.
