Another WTF HAX thread by urs truly


if you have never played this game u wont understand why im crying right now . anyways im on the ephraim mish where u have to kill vigarde and he keeps using that stupid Great Shield, hes used it 5 times in a row, no lie! first i had vanessa use a heavy spear, boom he got shiny 0 damage. then i tried to use Colm, who was an assassin and had Silencer, and hoped Silencer would go off, it didnt and vigarde used great shield. then i tried to use neimi, same thing GREAT SHIELD. so i hit End Turn and waited, and on the enemy turn Vigarde crits Colm after he only has a 12% chance to hit and a 2% chance to crit . back on my turn i decide to keep going instead of turning off the gb and restarting the chapter; i had a copy of this game that i saved right before i went to Vigardes palace. tried with vanessa again and he dodges both attacks and then Great Shields when i move neimi to attack. so i tried to use ephraim and his Reignleaf, greatest spear of all pwness, and that vigarde bastard great shields and criticals Ephraim.


well thats it, maybe ur wondering why im posting this? because i still cant believe it; i've never been pwnt that bad on that game before . anything like this happen to anyone else?

Is it the GBA game?

I wish there was more freedom in the FE series, like a map to roam and actual character developement. :P

didnt expect this many people to respond lol, this post was only to show people I could use periods, but yea its the gba and I play it cuz its fun, except for what rattle said, no free roaming(although this would be hard on gba) and no character development except lvling them up and choosing thier next class. sorry you lost all your porn knorke hope you get it back xD

There are non-linear RPGs for the SNES where you've got a map to freely roam as you like. The GBA is nothing more than an upgraded, handheld SNES. With a tiny display. Which is why I prefer emulators anyway.

I sorta like the FE series for their lovely battle animations but everything else is rather meh. If you like FE then you'll probably like the SRW (Super Robot Wars) series too...


Ogre Battle did it right, by the way. Should've been ported over unless it isn't already.

Eh, I found a gba emulator for the PC once but there was no point in DLing it cuz I couldnt find any gba games on PC lol. Yea you could make free roaming RPGs on the gba(pokemon comes to mind) I was thinking of free roaming FE more like Silk Road or WoW or even EverQuest (SilkRoad r0x).

All three of them are endless games, thus a waste of time IMO. Besides, FFTA comes close to this and it gets boring.
