Hi,
My stuff: Windows Vista, ATI Radeon 1300, newest drivers
When I give orders while holding shift and then move the screen, Textures, text, overlay disappear
Funny thing is that when I have a unit select AND it has an action que AND I hold shift then I see above again. While when I release shift all dissapears again.
BTW this problem started when I updated ATI drivers.....
Anyone has an idea?

Must be ATI-drivers. Change them.

There are no ATI drivers for vista that work with spring.
Ye have learnt a valuable lesson in what type of graphics card to buy for opengl cards.
You may have better luck with the opensource ati drivers in the new year under linux.

i sometimes get that but only on the most laggy occasion where my ping is trying to catch up with me. i usually have to pause to let it load for about 5 seconds.

Can we get a sticky on this?
1. Do not play Spring on an ATI
2. Do not play Spring on Windows Vista
3. Do not play Spring on an nVidia 8 series video card

Strike 2 and 3, nvidia works fine on Vista with spring. All the TDR crashes seem to be gone with the latest beta drivers.

I sent a bug report to ATI, maybe they will fix the problems. If other people also send it they might be more eager to fix :)

AF why strike 3? FPS are still way to low on 8 series cards.
