Spring RTS Engine

Ok sometimes i get pissed off when im speccing games, and then other specs starts painting the map with different colors, and i cant enjoy watching the game.

Could we please have some feature to block some users, so i cant see their drawings, or some command to just disable whole drawing thing, so it wouldnt show any drawings when i put some command like .disabledraw or etc.

Anyone?

A LuaUI call-in was added a few days ago that allows
you to block map drawing commands by player and
drawing command type (point, label, line, erase).

But i dont want to use LUAUI, i hate it :S

Why?

Because, for all of its nice little perks, it still crashes.

Thats a silly excuse. Using that logic we'd be apes sitting outside a cave insisting we cant use caves because they might cave in, and that fire shouldnt be experiment with because it burns.

C++ crashes too, the difference is lua crashes can be caught and fixed without ending the game, but c++ crashes are game over, and can in some cases lead to a BSOD.
