Spring RTS Engine

I was playing 1v1 on small divide this evening, got a few packet errors, clicked ok in the dialog box, and when the game started moving, my commander had SWITCHED SIDES. He changed color and could be controlled by my opponent, but not by me. I actually managed to come back from his attack and subsequent explosion, but it was a little disconcerting.

it's possible that you somehow hit the shortcut command that allows you to give contol of units to an apponent, I don't know what it is though... you can do this kind of thing on purpose with the sharing menu.
