Spring RTS Engine

After a lot of discussion it has been decided to change the points system of the ladders. Now you'll get more points if you play more. So to stay high on the charts you have to play every now and then.

Also the BA 1v1 ladder has been reset, so we all get new chances again. Perhaps in the future the ladder will be reset every month and the "old" ladder will be archived, maybe the top players of that month will win a cup or something.

With this point system it will also be possible to bring back the Map of the Week concept and make it possible to earn extra points on these maps. And it will be possible to make tourneys generate extra points. And yes a lot of this is not implented yet, but Melrax works hard on it, I guess

So lets all get playing again and make Spring a better place :D Play as many games as ladder games, your 1v1's but also your team games, your BA games and your CA/XTA games, and !!!!

What about defining sides played for non-TA based games? I would like 1944 to have some sort of side-recording method possible, even if all the matches are manually reported by me thus far.

Sides are never shown for manually reported games..

Did the automatic report fail?

Anyway, you can just send me nice pics for the sides.. Just PM me in the lobby..

The issue is that most people seem loathe to use compatible lobbies.

It's already in SVN and the autogenerated installers.. So: yeah, it will..
