Spring RTS Engine

The color stacking is an anyoing problem, that maybe could be solved by letting host change player colors ingame? Only the host to avoid eye-bugging abuse...

Hmmm interesting. You could make a gadget out of it and have predefined colors for races which players pick at the game start... unless that's not possible.
