Spring Online Campaign

Dunno where this would fit exactly
anywayz was wonder with lua or sumthing or using deployment settings if a online campaign could be run using spring (prolly using BA 5.8 cos its the most widely popular well known) it would involve a struggle between the arm and core in a small galaxy
my idea would be to have 10 planets (10 maps) each with varying terrain etc
have 1 homeworld for each 2 outer rim bases and 4 unoccupied territories in the middle
team could be made of 20 or so people per side (so games can be constant)
and with deployment or some sort lua i was hoping to be able to setup prebuilt bases or sumthing and sneding invasion forces..
I dunno if this idea could work
instead of the constant focus on eco this would be pure strat/tactics of wat to send in etc how much resource ud spend on units and or economy and stuff
ofc this would have to be limtied if not wed get abuse of spam etc.. but dunno there must be some way to make it work
any1 got any ideas ?
(Soz if its been posted b4)

Remake boneyards for spring? Sounds like a good idea if you can find someone to code it.

This sounds similar to that failed challenge idea...
My idea is, have a challenge where each player picks the mod that they will host, and they are assigned a random map [mod-depending], and can challenge players on other "planets" and whoever ends up with the most planets after 30 days[?] wins. Anyone can challenge a host, as long as he/she is able to play and host, or the challenger can.
More or less an easy/fun way to get King of Spring Title.

my idea differs from that its not about being the "king" of spring its about having a tactical game on more than just one level a true faction vs faction campaign were one team faces the other its not all about individual players more about a team effort and teamwork

Edit: WTF, it's gone
Anyway, it was supposed to become a web based Boneyards-style system, before I lost all interest and time.
I'll try and upload it somewhere else to give you a better idea.
Edit2: It's up here:

I'll try and get it running. It might take a while until I figure out the database structure again though...

That sites a bit of a dead end not really explaining what it is or exactly how its relevant, and the forums closed.
A galactic empire tug of war between factions/groups/clans game is eventually planned in the far far future for aflobby and AFS.

Yeah, an idea like this is definatly possible, problem is finding someone to do it.

Especially with the new replay format, automation would be pretty easy.
If you run it from autohosts, you can even phase out the need for users to report!

Sure we can. Problem is, time is currently NOT on my side, and it probably won't be for a long time.
I'll try and do some stuff now and then though :)

I'll get more practice on making Campaigns.
We need more uneven maps to do this. Aswell as an actual galatic gate, that cannot look that same as as shield generator.
Shall we have a CORE Campaign, and a seperate ARM Campaign?
Each mod, can have their own version.

I'm currently going to start looking to the idea of creating one.
The mod will be CA ;]
and it will include NEW maps (so you don't know what to expect)

If you need any sort of clientside or lobby integration (gathering data, sending it to central server, managing games etc) let me know! :)
I can handle that part..

Would be quite cool if we had something like boneyard - and if you could set the Mod you lik for the defense-Game on conquered Planets.

I keep repeating this over and over again, but I'll say it yet again for anyone who wants to request a boneyards clone or a campaign manager, I'll say it again.
This is planned, and has been planned almost from the inception of AFLobby.

But is it implemented?
