Supreme Commander Mod?

I am just wondering if there is a mod for Supreme Commander, with the Gaeon (as I call them because they are gay), the UEF, and the Cybrans (or even one of those factions).
If there isn't, someone should make one!

The last option is highly relevant in this situation.

Good to know I'm scoring points on my first day
Is there some mod of SupCom that I didn't see on the downloads area, or is there a *reason* one doesn't exist?

I think pretty much everyone is here because they either hate Supcom or can't run it. So...
Fail.

that and porting supcom would be... ILLEGAL *gasp*
no less illegal than TA, but since TA is a 10 year old game that Atari doesnt give a shit about (talking in terms of making money here). i think we can rest assured that Gas Powered Games DOES care about people ripping off their content (which is less than a year old)

Supreme commander is a very good game. One of the best RTS's in a long time. It's just not as groundbreaking as TA, and they didn't make a perfect RTS, just a very good one. It's also difficult to overcome nostalgia goggles for TA people like us.
That being said, if people want to play SupCom, they should fork over the money and play SupCom. They've got a whole supcom mod waiting for them, on an engine custom built for it
Let's broaden our horizons with Spring a little, rather then expending lots of effort just to recreate what we already have working perfectly fine elsewhere.
I realise the irony in that I am making a star wars mod. Shut up d:

that would imply that there is a good Star Wars RTS out there, which, imo, there isnt.

That's a fair point. I was more commenting on the ubiquitousness of Star Wars mods.
But still, that's one of the best things going for SWS right now, in terms of attracting non-Spring people. We're aiming to provide something that is a good game first, and a star wars game second, which is where I think all of the lucasarts RTS's have had their priorities wrong.

"Supreme Annihilation" sounds better to me.

How about Supremely Balanced Commander Annihilation. That's catchy.

Supremilated: After The War
SupCom rebalance mod.
(I've been helping them balance test it, it's actually very good)
