It's basicly just one shots at an opposing point of view.
That's the thing I've always hated about protest signs... They don't say anything, they just advocate an opinion with no implied reasoning. Any time you take a complicated issue and sum it down to a few words you lose any power of convincing sway.

I love that "Hey France, we saved you from the Nazis so you are forever indebted to us" mentality of some US Americans. Why shouldn't France go "Hey, USA, we saved your ass from the Brits so do what we tell you to!"?
That whole website is full of shit...

We did that, and ended up getting our sailors stolen and our shit burned down!

Except for slavery, fascism, nazism and communism, war has never solved anything!
Slavery hasn't been solved, that site actually seems to be begging for a fascist regime, and communism was crippled by it's own problems.
What a load of bullshit.

I absolutely disagree with that swift, you imply that the entire action of protest is meaningless unless you can hold a seminar on the same topic in order to discuss the reasoning behind your driect action.
Generally mass mobilisations are organised by an entity or coalition of entities which will publish a statement for use by the press, explaining their motivation and aims.
In Britain at least, protests are aimed at generating visible democratic pressure; there is little point in mobilizing to go and stand in trafalgar square, being adamantly opposed to, say, the Palestine Wall, if you do not have some visible signifier of your intent.
Sloganeering and hiijacking of honest intentions is a problem, but a protest sign is not an inherently useless thing.

If people wrote texts on protests signs, the words would be too small to offend whoever they are protesting against... so they write few words :)

Perhaps you guys don't see the over oblivious sarcasm... I didn't like the France one, sarcasm or not, but some of the others were kinda funny, imo.

Read their mission statement, no sarcasm, just badly informed, crude propaganda

Looks more like a running joke to me. Either way it's bullshit just like KDR said.

ProtestWarriro.com wrote:These leftists usually carry the loudest megaphones. And left unchallenged, their voices are heard disproportionately, demoralizing our troops, and emboldening dictators around the world - dictators who dream of the day the "Great Satan" disappears from the face of the earth.
Guess I was just giving the Benefit of the doubt...
