Bah, "not enough space". Fuck you, there's 4GB free on that drive, what more do you want?

5. Every good game uses at leats 5 GB on your harddrive. The better the game the more diskspace it consumes. See SupCom.

Wasnt crysis stated to need like 18 gigs?

Considering that you've got to keep the image(s) as well you can add 80-90% of the installation size on top. Honestly, that makes your 500 GB harddrive seem way smaller than it is.

I hope they'll patch it and realize that today it's not uncommon to put the OS on a different partition or drive than the software.

The installation problem has been fixed - as has the XP64bit issue - which was actually a Windows Server 2003 issue. Check the forum to see if a better solution has emerged to the install - the changing permissions in Local Security Policy area worked for me.
A patched exe has been posted on another thread for the XP64bit issue - works fine here though my card ain't happy at all lol. Default setting of 50% for render window needs to be upped to 100% for proper performance. Edit your engine.ini under your mydocs area to remove/set to false the bloom effects which also hurt a mid range card.
Mine installed to my D drive fine - its the error - it unpacks on the C and misreads the space or something.

Can you run bioshock? Y/N?
If Y, you can run UT3
If N, you cannot run UT3
Same engine.
