Is anyone working on a tileset?

(i.e. something that isn't copyright of cavedog/atari/someone else)?

Well, actually, I know that someone is because I am. I'm doing metal.

this is where I'm at so far:

I'm intending to put some little interesting doodad-y things to break it up a bit. Any suggestions for shapes to use? or other things to put on there to make it look interesting?

Yeha told that spring use 32x32 tiles. It does make alot of difference on map size, so make sure all of your tiles have dimension multiple of 32x32.

Typing "textures" in google works well for me, so I'm not sure you really have to do texture just for the shake of doing texture without having any immediate needs for them.

If you're making a new map, it's fine to make new textures for it, and then to share them, but otherwise no needs to make texture independantly.

I put some doodads and stuff into it and produced this screenie:

note: This is nothing whatsoever like how the map will appear - it's just to a demo of the ground tile with some shape.

Oh, and I just want to laude my 1600x1200 monitor capabilities :-)
