Microsoft "expression web" sucks

The product they're making to replace the long-running Frontpage product line is called "Expression Web."

Since I'm a masochistic bastard, I often use Frontpage for HTML editing. It's a buggy program with lots of bizarre problems and an illogical interface. But it's workable if you learn how to trick it into what you want it to do.

Well, Expression Web AIN'T. This thing sucks ass and wonders why it didn't try it sooner. It is made of purified FAIL. Frontpage sucks, but it's alright for some stuff. Expression Web is good for if you want to waste hours of work for nothing and if you're sexually attracted to bad design. So don't even think about trying it. Don't even pirate it. Just stay the hell away and pretend it was never made, that's the only way to handle these sorts of things.

You do know you're actually faster with notepad than frontpage...

I usually edit html with eclipse.

I also do my job in eclipse, and develop spring in eclipse.

I think I like eclipse too much.

Offtopic: Eclipse FTW! (this is the frist and the last time I'm writing that awful nerd expression). Really eclipse is the most advanced application in the world and it's still very user friendly ...

Felix, you don't get it. I knew it would be bad. I wasn't expecting Vista-bad.

I'm going to try out eclipse.

Vi is a piece of shit. Emacs is slightly better. Nano (quick small edits, git commits, etc), gedit (multi-file editing, etc) combo ftw.

Don't. Eclipse is great becouse it integrates (almost) everything into one application. It's a dream come true for a developer :) However If all you need is a html editor, there must be better alternatives.

Any text editor with syntax highlighting will do you fine.
