Connecting through a network

Does anybody know how to play spring through a network?

[13:44:47] Connecting to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com ...
[13:45:08] Cannot connect to server!
[13:45:08] Trying next host in the list ...
[13:45:10] Error: cannot connect! (osrts.info:8200)
[13:45:10] Trying next host in the list ...
[13:45:10] Connecting to localhost ...
[13:45:11] Cannot connect to server!

Thats all i get everytime i try to connect now :(

I could connect fine at home just not here, is there a way around it?

I am on a network and connect fine. Depends where you are, school, college etc block everything.

Im at uni, so its on the network.

I tried putting the Unis address under the proxy in the HTTP options, that hasnt really worked.

Any other ideas or do i just need to find the username, password and port number for that?

Unless you have very friendly admins - give up. The port is most likely being blocked and I doubt they will unblock it just to you can play a game.

You can still play LAN games if you have friends who want to play. You'll need to install the server too though.

Ah well nevermind eh.

Unfortunately i havent been here long enough to know any admins, if i see one in the bar ill do my best...Until then i just downloaded the LAN lobby so ill give that a go!!
