Spring RTS Engine

...is broken. I've broken my little finger (or how do you call it) falling off my bike after a stupid woman pulled off the single most retarded manouver conceivable on a bicycle, and hit me hard.
Aftermath: 2 metal pins in the finger and cast around half of my arm for six weeks. For a simply useless finger. I really can't remember using it in my entire life. Maybe for typing, but I can do it without it as well. It just isn't worth it. I hate the thing.

I can't believe you had to wear a cast and all. I broke my 4th finger before and just wrapped it up. It wasn't a bad break, though.

at least you didnt get your 3rd finger broken, and stuck in the up position like i did..... well actually it was casted in that position but stil...

Still, if you had to give a rating of the usefulness of the pinky finger... it probably wouldn't score the highest. That being said, I couldn't lerk in NS any more if I lost my left pinky

I haven't found a good use for the right one though, I don't really even use it when I type aside from the occasional shift...

Man if I didn't have my pinkies it would be at least 35% harder to play the guitar properly. Man, that woudl suck.

All this goes to show that trombone > anything else. You can play with whatever bodily implements you are able to hold two pieces of metal with :)

Ive played piano for quite a long time, I dont see a 'useless' finger. But definatly if i were to loose a finger it would be my fourth.

There's this guy downtown who plays guitar on the corner and one of his hands is a hook attached to his upper arm.

There was a Brazilian artist that had no hands... he would paint with his mouth! and diferently from what you might be thinking, he was a good painter...

Possibilty of breaking stuff is one of the reasons I never learned or wanted to ride a bike... too afraid :) The body can barely resist impacts from speeds he can generate by itself, let alone if you use some device to increase your speed... thats why high speed car accidents are nearly sure-death... :)

Biking is good if the city you're in has bike trails...there's one that goes from 2 or 3 blocks from my house and goes right past UPEI, which is general winrar.

As for guitar, my left pinky does a bit of work, but my right pinky is pretty useless (even for fingerpicking).
