Spring Clan League!

Im thinking of organising a clan league competition if there is enough interest. Clans would need at least 3 players, preferably more when a match is taking place. Around 5-10 clans is what I would hope for. Mod would be the latest version of Balanced Annihilation and all the games will count on the ladder.

Each clan would play another clan each weekend with three 1v1s, one 2v2 and one 3v3, all best of three, for an example the results may look like this:

[Clan] vs [Team]

[Clan]player 2-1 [Team]dude
[Clan]abc 0-2 [Team]xyz
[Clan]123 2-0 [Team]789

[Clan]abc + [Clan]123 1-2 [Team]dude + [Team]guy

[Clan]player + [Clan]nuggets + [Clan]123 2-0 [Team]xyz + [Team]hobo + [Team]noob

and [Clan] would win this match 3-2.

You would receive:
10 points for a 5-0 win
8 points for a 4-1 win
6 points for a 3-2 win
3 points for a 2-3 defeat
1 point for a 1-4 defeat
0 points for a 0-5 defeat

The season would end when each clan had played every other clan once.

There will be a map of the week each week for the 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. This will be the starting map for the 1v1s, 2v2 or 3v3. The map of the week may be different for 1v1s/2v2s/3v3s. After the first game, the losing team picks the next map from the BA ladder list, and if necessary the losing team of the 2nd match will pick the 3rd map, for example

[Clan]player beats [Team]dude on cooper hill
[Team]dude picks The Cold Place and wins
[Clan]player picks Lava Highground and wins.

If your clan is interested post it in the thread please. If there is enough interest I will ask each clan for a team "captain" who would pick who plays which matches for his clan and a player roster. One player can be used in the 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, but cannot be used in more than one 1v1.

Lets hope this works!

So, will you consider larger battles later? I ask for the sake of completion.

as in 5v5? Sure but I dont think enough clans can cope with fielding 5 players at the moment. If this thrives it is very possible.

Right, well, I'm freelance, so I suspect I have no place in this unless clans are able to nab fill-in players from the masses in emergencies. Good luck!

I would of thought a "clan ladder" would put far more focus on team games.
