Why would you arrest the girl who spilled the salt? Arrest the manager who tried to brush it off the meat, ultimately he made the decision to sell it.
And seriously, I doubt there was that much salt that it was a public health hazard. I think the cop was within his rights to ask for a new burger, and maby that the extreme sue Macdonalds if he really did get medically verifiably sick, but arresting the employee over a mistake? Gees...
