Help me internets!

Wanted: Tablet PC (Preferably convertible) that has a Geforce/ATI graphics card. Only one I've been able to find so far despite a *lot* of searching is the Gateway C-140/E-295.
The main shortfall of the Gateway is that it has a screen that is not very bright. This may be a dealbreaker for me, as I may simply out for no graphics card and a better screen (HP or Lenovo).
But I would love to have a graphics card, and some competition for the Gateway in my purchase decision.

That ATI X1400 is really nothing to be excited about, to be honest.
Intel has gotten its act together with the Santa Rosa platform, which carries their new generation integrated GMA X3100, which give decent DirectX 9 performance and DirectX 10 compatibility. Probably does as good as or slightly better a job than the X1400.
So that said, you should consider at least something with GMA X3100 and Core 2 Duo. Here are some good choices:
Fujitsu Lifebook T4220 - One of the fastest and very bright
Lenovo Thinkpad X61 - Decent, harder to see outside
Fujitsu T2010 - Super bright, 11 hour batter life
I'm interested in buying myself, so those are what I'd consider as well.

Double post for win:
GMA X3100 doesn't have a production driver yet, unfortunately, but Intel just released one for the GMA X3000 this month. Couldn't find any benchmarks on the X3000, but after poking around in
this thread, it looks like it does fine with most DX 9 games on medium.
That said, the GMA X3100 supposedly will have better drivers, more power, and handle DX10, so it should provide you with a fine gaming experience on a 12-in tablet.

Well I'm off to America on Wednesday, specifically to pick up a top spec t4220 for UNI :). In short; it comes out cheaper to fly over there, stay there a week & explore NYC and come back then buying it here..
I'll post up a mini-review when i get back.

Fujitsu-Siemens. Japan would be the obvious choice, but tickets are a lot more expensive.
