How about an LUA widget that automaticly sends your boi running in the opposite direction whenever an enemy transport gets close?

Commence Flamewars.

Why?

I could see this for when an Ally tries to nap your commander, see Tired, as there is no warning really, and no weapon countermeasure, but otherwise, you need to learn to micro/stay aware - and it is a legit tactic which should not be hamstrung by a lua script.

is there a widget that builds my base for the first 2 minutes?

Why stop at two? Playing a game is too much micro. I want to be able to speak into my microphone (which the devs should buy for me) the words "Attack that player" and watch my well-formulated glorious victory.

I'm not playing spring again until this feature is implemented.

Seriously, if you don't want comnapping, ask the mod maker/start your own mod to use the TransportByEnemy FBI tag. A widget to make your comm be a pussy, what the hell

transportByEnemy=0;

Fixes all unit naping.

Thank trepan for the handy dandy solution. Read the changelog people!

See above. Or give the Commander a weapon that is reasonably good at AA duties. The problem can be viewed either as one of game design, or one of poor balance. Either way, it's easily solved.

Gnome and Sleksa have ended this thread. Good game all, next time, we might play diminishing metal makers.

It already has one that fires as he walks.

If you can't be bothered to watch the most important unit in the game you deserve to lose it.

Or we could have the widget be overridden by manual control. :roll:
(Durr?)

And thanks for the widget, now to try it out :-)
