Movement Classes

It seems to me that an unpacked movedata.tdf doesn't override a packed one, is it because Spring reads from both and instances of the same class number cause a conflict? :|

The TACW amphibious movement class is a direct rip of the Pelicans, however it doesnt work, and nor will the pelican whilst the TACW movedata.tdf is there. With it disabled the Pel works fine as does any amphib TACW unit given the pels moveclass. So it seems like the unpacked does ovveride the packed, but, then why doesnt the TACW class work if it is just acopy of the Pels?

Smoth? G_Z? Caydr?

I had problem, many units wouldn't move when I first tried to port SWTA. I just checked they were the same, deleted the custom movedata.tdf and haven't tried to see exactly where was the problem.
