Spring stunned?

I often check this forum for new units, mods and stuff like this, but since the time i left spring modding community and went over to SC, i didnt saw a single good playable new mod. Even BA didnt got new models but only new balance changes.
Did i missed somehing, or are all modders gone or asleep?
Its nearly a year now for me since i made my last FF or War Evolution version.
I hoped to see Starwars mod or even more the Battle tech mod, but it seems that the releases of these two big mods are still far away.

Wow, yeah we are all asleep, not working on anything. Go back to where ever you dissapeared to as there is NOTHING to see here.

Smoth's sarcasm aside, we have Kernel Panic, Complete Annihilation, and Smoth's own Gundamn just to name the biggest projects.

We are still alive and quite well, if the same size community as we were when you left. Check unknown-files for a full listing of what has been released over the last year, and please update War Evolution.

i dont speak about the number of released files, but the number of ACTIVE played NEW mods. I cant see them (i sometimes still play spring and log in).
95% is still based on AA.

I just checked the stats:

seems that not much changed...

pretty much true. The same as always optimus, we have a handfull of gundam, ee or ff. Outside of that it is primarily ba. Of course we still have that rancid staple: ba+speedmetal.

I wish I could tell you different things are happening but the other games are still mostly played singleplayer or with 1-2 games a night.

thats what i thought.
I think (and i thought it a long time ago) that spring needs a kick in his ass to support new mods a lot more. Perhaps with some events, big headlines or something like this. Its sad to see the work of so many people wasted.
IF AA would have cool looking new units and so, i would say OK, its better, it deserves it, but actually, the models are more then 10 years old... (the gameplay could still be the same with new better looking models).

The stat pie is a lie! It never register any Kernel Panic game, not matter how many I play, because "they are too short". The stats is prejudiced against fast paced mod! Down with the injustice!

that stat thing is all kinds of broken, we have played 6-8 games of gundam and it didn't register one but The Lobby doesn't lie and there are still very few non-aphabetsoup games being played.

Its a veyr bad chart as its full of holes.

Its unreliable data.

For example, fi I host an autohost for a new mod xyz and 1000 games are played on it, if I then check the stats that xyz mdo wotn eb on the chart, because those 1000 games were interpreted as 1 single game by the server. To get the 1k games Id have to make it rehost after every game.

Those games must also last longer than 20 minutes to count.

Why not make it mod specific if possible?

How many SupCom mods are played multiplayer commonly?

I have a question, lads. What sort of access would it take to pull the data necessary to make a better game statistics chart? I think we may as well - we recognized this inaccuracy some time ago and haven't done anything about it.

Felix, lay off on the sarcasm. You're going to curdle the blood of the innocent.
