Spring RTS Engine

In XTA, the menu is messed up. How can I rearrange it the way I like?
(Each ressource structure in on frame, each builder building, each defance structure, etc...)

If we don't have the same order than our oppenent, would it cause desyinc?

And finaly, it could be cool to have a tool to rearange them.

I agree, I think its because of two things. First of all, orders should be up the top, and the build menu down the bottom. Show both building and orders at the same time, unlike OTA, but have just 6 units per page. That way the menus do not get messed up. I say this because it can be hard to find units with eight pictures, but with six you cannot go wrong. Its better for n00bs, and advanced players.

On an unrelated topic, is there anyone working on the ingame GUI...? (The ... was because it needs it!)

I don't think it has to be limited to six.
If we have 7 units to build, I want to have them all in one page.
If we have 5 factory, 5 ressources maker and 7 defance structure, it could be cool to have each category on one page instead of having them spread in 3 pages of 6.

So, if I want to build ressource, I dont have to search on all the pages.
It would be less confusing for neeb too.
(all my defance are on this pages, I don't have to search and don't forget any)

I'd rather have all buildpics all over the screen, like in TA:Kingdoms, and not to have to turn pages ever again.

The problem is not XTA, it is Spring.

In XTA without Spring, the build menus are just like in normal TA.

But I agree, the build menus are messed up and they need to be improved to either be like TA or to allow you to see the orders and the possible build things at the same time

If we can have all on one page without taking 50% of the screen, I'm ok.

One page is definitely how I would prefer it. Maybe slightly transparent so it would not totally block field of vision?
