Spring RTS Engine

Hi,

I'm using windows XP, client version 0.35 and spring 0.75b2.
Every time I connect to the client it holds for some minuts and then it disconnects.
Sometimes it holds more time, and sometimes less.

I succeed having some games. After launching a game I don't disconnect from the game, but still disconnect from the TASClient.

why does it happend?
what can I do?

disconnect as timeouts?

Just disconnects suddenly.

(I had to delete every email adress or link which are here since the forum don't let me)

i have a problem, when i join certain games, i also disconnect by timeout. What can i do to stop this?

I guess you could try AFLobby if it becomes a real problem, but i can't reccomend it cause it dosn't even start for me.

when I try to connect at morning it works better and it takes a lot of time to siconnect (if at all) but at the evening it happens very fast (I live in Israel so my times are different from you). I guess my evening is the rush hours.

how and where can I use AFlobby?
I can't find a site to download / run it from.

look in the development forum for a windows installer. A more upto date version can eb found in the linux forum howver it hasnt got a pretty installer.

I updated to the latest TAClient and in holds for much more time before disconnecting (but still disconnecting - not good!), but I think it is because of luck rather the the update I have made.

I still don't understand where to find the AFlobby you are talking about.

I found aflobby in unknown files, but it didn't help.

The problem solved by chaneging my ISP to another one (which also solved many other lag problems)
