Spring RTS Engine

a: Click-minimap-to-move-cam.

Just like it says. left click the miniman when you dont have a unit selected, your camera zoomes to the place you clicked on. Can save valuble time when your directing assaults and defense at multiple points on the map.

Just ESC to quit, or anotehr button. Sometimes we lag, and if I-I mean, we lag too bad, we have to hold shift for 5 minutes waiting for the quit menu to come up :p. I'd rather wait that 5 minutes not holding a button down :p.

Chat area-to-game area PM's: IT would be nice if I could PM someone in a game about stuff instead of waiting for the game to finnish :3.

Middle-click the minimap.

The second one is possible by editing uikeys.txt, I do believe.

alt+f4 to exit

alt+tab for pms

Wow, I never knew alt - tab caused messages to travel into someones game AF...

How are they goona know to alt tab to the client in the first place if you cant message them in game?

Anyway... Battlenet used to let you contact people in games from the lobby, and it was a handy feature, but its not realy a priority thing for spring.

thanks for telling me it was possible on the first 2.

And you can PM someone in game, they just cant see it until they ALT + TAB (they just get an annoying-ish attention-grabber noise), which can be bad in a heated battle when you might be needed by a friend who could use you at teh moment :p
