Lines in explosions

Hey well im sorry if this has been addressed before but ill explain anyway
Every explosion when zoomed out has many horizontal lines appear through them. If you would like a screen-shot please ask
Is there an option in settings I can change to rectify this? I left them at their defaults to make sure i pretty much get a constant 85fps
Ive got a 8500Gt

but it should handle what i throw at it

I believe it may be a driver issue, but screenshots will be able to confirm or deny this initial diagnosis.

Turn off Anisotropic Filtering on your videocard, and report if this still occurs. Funny, I thought that this had been addressed, I haven't seen this problem since 74b1

I disabled AA and its ok, i think it might be a driver problem, if i turn AA on in say CS:S the floor of dust2 in the halls goes purple and everything goes a weird colour inside...
I thought id just send the whole pic, (was just a test against AI)
btw, will the moho metal makers when built switch to the default AI as metal maker in a future release? And will there ever be and adv hovercraft platform?

I had the same problem with my 6800 already in the previous version.
It happens when I try to play live for speed with forced AA (this game doesnt have AA in its gfx options) and set my graphic driver to "always use AA."
This option has to be turned to "let application decide" for spring.
