Metroid music vs Halo music

I like Metroid's better. Not due to my bias towards armored amazon-type bounty hunters with a penchant for asskickery. Halo only has one good track, the rest are just OK, and even that good track is pretty weak compared with some game music I've heard. Metroid's are at least memorable.
edit: Note, I'm not even just talking about Prime here, I mean metroid in general. Like, here's some 8-bit music for ya:

The intro music for metroid prime... Oh gawd it just instantly set the scene and tells you 'This is no ordinary game'.
MP 1 was the best game for the GC. No contest at all. One of the best ive ever played actually.

Halo opening theme is great. But not great enough to carry Halo's entire soundtrack against Metroids.

I like the music from the first area you enter most, but all the others are amazing, too!

Metroid's music was great because its ambient feel integrated perfectly with the gameplay.

super metroid has to be like one of the top 5 games ever made

Damn I love that. Somewhat off topic, but they hired that same guy (virt from vgmix) to do the soundtrack for Contra 4 DS.
