Mine fields and custom mines.

Is it possible to do something like this:
Creating a mine field without building it.
Artillery fires a patron filled with mines. Hitting the ground disperses the mines over the ground.
Or dropping a bomb filled with mines with a aircraft something like C&C Generals.

Or claymore mines. Or mines with a small radius but with high damage.
Or mines which explodes and fires hundreds of bullets away. Like bounding mines.[/url]

Thx. I know that but can I get the event when the bullet explode?
Something like this:
Unit shoots->bullet explode->Event calls: Creating a mine field.

AFAIK bullets and explosions can't interact with Lua.

You could call a LUA function which passes on the unit ID, weapon ID and position of explosion from CGameHelper::Explosion().

Nemo was able to spin a suggestion of mine into gold, but I would call it his IP, so ask him about it directly. It is much more interesting if you don't understand how it works.

Creation w/o Building: Lua
Artillery Shell -> Mines: Not Sure, Complex
Bomb -> Mines: Not Sure, Complex
Claymore: Not Sure
Small Radius; High Damage: Script, Tags
Mine -> Bullet Spray: Should Be Possible

@Peet: sorry, was not my goal. I only want to known if it is possible.
Because it would give more strategy variants.

I think it's a great idea but the bomb/shell should cost something whin fired and the mines should take up populashin or they die after a minut or so
