I was bored last night, and I did something I haven't done since the beginning of summer..

I drew.. I would like some critic/tips on this fellow...

The hand shading was fun, first time I ever did it, tbh..

Tried hatching?

Basically drawing patterns of lines in different ways to represent different colour and different density to make shading, search wikipedia for it.

Nope, sounds interesting.. I'll have to check it out...

Edit: Looks interesting, I'll give it a try next time I need to stay up all night and or am bored :P

Everything below the shoulder looks like random lines, I have no idea what's going on there. Emphasize contour lines, deemphasize detail lines.

Irregular shading. The shadows on the shoulders arent repeated on the lower back, which makes it look strange.

Also, a mix of smooth shading ontop of light crosshatching might do good.
