There's a game between Argentina and some other team about 4 blocks from my house... I can hear the cheering in my house with the windows closed... kinda wish I actually cared about soccer eh?

Every country in the world but USA calls it football. Where did they go and get a silly name like soccer from?

I believe its called soccer because it's, association football as apposed to to NFL.

Please try not generalise about about the size of American brains.

We think that because by and large its the stupid ones we have to deal with (in person at least. On the internet, the fact that the smart people are on the other side of the Atlantic is less of a problem)

And it always tickles me that everyone from everywhere else think that we Brits just sit around all day drinking tea, saying stuff like "smashing" and "cad" and inventing sports that we suck at

Generalizations tend to be on the duller side of the sword of doom. You know? The side that kills you. Also, 300 million? I had the count at 250 million last time...either way, that's a lotta people. All with their different hopes and dreams and so on and so forth.

Have to admit, that's pretty cool.
