Banned / Ignore List

When hosting games it is very annoying to kick someone and then they keep coming back in. Could we get a ban list that auto - kicks (on the client end to be easiest) or some implementation server side?

some short ban would be ok, i dont like perm bans, they arent so good, some noobs can permban you just because you won the game, etc. rageban spamming incomes when they have THA POWAH. we've seen it before, people just cant hold their banstick. thats why we have limited amounts of moderators in forums too.

Well, if it's implemented client side, I'd like to be able to unban at my discretion. If I know a certain player has bad pings (KingRaptor lol) I can ban him without having to remember his name again.

This sort of ability will probably, based on a conservative analysis of people, lead to decreased interaction and the formation of elite groups among non-clan gamers. It also offers other opportunities for abuse.

Okay, I understand the advantages, you don't have to tell me :)
As I recall when I host, I am providing a service to others (as well as enjoying the game). Shouldn't I be able to determine who gets to use these services and prioritize persons (aka friends?).
