Spring RTS Engine

Could we get a tag for hosts that are consistently stable / a rating system?
Something like ebay feedback?

I know I've hosted a number of games and it ticks me off when one or two noobs start saying I can't host just because they ragequitted out of my game.

I think this is a good idea, though we need to make sure we don't go overboard with the tags. Also, hosting quality can change with ISP, so perhaps we should make the tag based on something other than the person hosting, so to speak. I know I had a great hosting and playing record at Berkeley, but back at my mother's home I have about a 25% disconnect rate, and I can't host.

I agree, and that would be nice not only for hosting but for gameplay also (there are people with which you do not enjoy playing).

But I think until we get the system you should follow drolito advice.

lol bad for me, i crash 50% of games, but hosting is stable/fast until it crashes :D

and what if i have got really bad rating, but then my computer works perfectly again, and never crashes, but still people see my hosting sucks.

Well you can obviously work your way back up.
It's just like a feedback rating or whatever.

I don't see u :p ... if u host 16 ppl games it's sure u will have lot of players who know you're a good host in few time ...

Now i need only 10 mn to have 16 ppl in my altored divide games cause all ppl know i never crash ...
