Actually, via some complex Javascript, it is possible. GMail does something similar, so any new emails you receive are delivered without refreshing. But i dont think anyone really wants to implement this for a forum.

Ok, strictly speaking it's possible to do, but it takes editing the site alot more then is necessary for something so trivial. This isn't a chatroom, and the forum doesn't move THAT fast. trolling the forum all day posting about how gay BA is and how we need less speed metal, posting about how they dissagree with teh GPL licence and are going to sue everyone for using their bos scripts that no other game uses. posting things about some rubbish match they had and how we need to ban all users with 2 chevs. Posting crap about how this community is falling to bits when really there is no community because everyone just moans and takes spring to fookin seriously. its just one drama after the next, and i swear noone who posts in this forum actually plays spring, either they post about how there gona make something awsome, moan about something that exists not being quite awsome or just moan about shit.

hmm, a somewhat hypocritical post. These people usually do play spring, have hair, are below 25, and are always complaining that changes dont come quickly enough.
In the mean time as the person who meets those specifications the msot out of everyone here, I must say, I aint bald, I have lots of hair, too much hair infact *strokes hair*, I'm 19 next month, I like change, I'm a change driver for quite a few things, including the lobby, this website, and numerous other things, indeed I offered to redesign UFs layout for you once and then you used your old layout anyway because you werent keen on my initial idea sketch.
If anything your the one scared of change. I'd consider branching out rather than hanging around in the same channels in tasclient with the same people and posting in the threads they post. They arent prepresentative of the community as a whole and this isnt the primary spring community for many people, as such their actions here arent really indicative of who they really are. Your more likely to see them in a better state at say smoths forums or the TA forum or the BA forum etc.
imo you need to cut loose some tension. It seems anythign I say to you is rude obnoxious and horrible from your point of view because it doesnt have lololol on the end and you've become "omg wtf I'm a sensitive guy dont do that I'm gonna kill you now" kind of guy.

I dont hang out in every channel (e.g. #k), I sit in about 12 channels and there're around 30 on the server, and I do dish out praise, yes I could do it more often, but you have to realize when I make a criticism its with the intent of helping, keep in mind =D or =) not :< when reading my posts.
And indeed I have finished projects. However I like to improve on numerous things. Hence why all my bots have had features and improvements added after I got them working doing what they were originally intended todo.
