Spring RTS Engine

Me just imagined Nanos applied in a new Way to built a Base. First Thing dropped on the Battlefiled is the Nano(Apple)Seed. Then a Thing, looking like a silver Appletree starts to grow, Buildings are attached like Solars (new Leaves) - Factorys, Roots (Mexes) - and so the Base grows into a Huge Metallic Tree... that would look really Cool... sorry if i used a dazed of Phantasm to get my Postcount go up... its like in Nam.. everything is allowed as long as our Postcount is higher then Charlies..

Idea is not bad. I think in earth 2*** is the same available. And other mods/games can include some feature like that, too.

I dont think spring supports that... :)

Spring grows - and we have Agorms Treemap.. so if we inbreed that Map with one of the heavier Scripted Mods/ or Units.. (something from ARGH, SMOTH, ZSWG) give in a drip of Mercury and Nanos... and one or two Lightnings... It lives... you shall be called Frankentree

You should not force Amish into the Nets... they have a disturbing Tendency to declare Innovations or Ideas Druged, that maybe actually would work... like Cars, Planes, or NanoTrees...

Considering that the robots wanna be as efficient as possible, why make a tree instead of just a tower?

Sorry Felix if this was a Insult to you - i don`t know much about the Amish - just that they avoid Inventions because the Devil has made them... or such a thing... I hope nobody is really angry.. it was just to protect a Idea from beeing wrapped into the "Picasso-again"-WhiteJacket and still it was dragged of - screaming into the Direction of the Asylum.


What the Tree would be good for.. first it could stand in small Places... then the Old buildingsbranches could just stay in one of the inner "layers" of the Tree. Finally it would look coll - and you could get for the Great Effect some Tanks - under heavy Fire - to chop the Base...

Oh - and by the Way you could set the Treeroots on the Oceanfloor, so nomore additional Waterbuildings needed, just a Tree with a Leafcrown above the Water..

And if you have Spaceships in it.. well it would look really cool - and this Base could be controlled with Springs Advanced Interface...
