Music, but different...

i think that Spring needs ingame music; but not like Mr. Soule and nothing with lyrics, i mean like an instrumental Metal Core and Techno or something. The upbeat stuff i think would work well, and if someone wanted, they could do some other modern style.
See?

It would have to be content specific, and so many other things besides...

if u really want game specific music this might be at least mildly interesting to u:
http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtop ... 329#193329
however im against packaging the game with music as it bloats the filesize unecessarily not to mention people will whine about whatever music gets put in...
really the music player in background solution is much better...

Than say that when you make the thread, and know that there is no reason to implement it as such.

I'll keep that in mind; and this might sound n00bish, but MTR=? Lingo isnt my strongpoint.

MTR
Wow... that list used to be huge but most of the OLD MTRs got graduated to features... no-one seems to be adding any new MTRs or linking to the wiki when they do... don't make me start editing peoples posts... I'm lazy.

Except it's way less convenient than an in-game music player.
Seperate volume controls, having to start and stop the player at game start and exit.
Also, there's the whole issue with how that can't be used for dynamc music without adding even more inconvenience.
See, your problem solving just results in 3 more problems, this is why this is mtr.

but yet, if the music is instrumental, no one can complain about lyrics. Who wants to tell their 6 year old brother (or sister), "i'm sorry, but you cant watch me play because the music isnt for you."

I almost want to learn how to program again and then to make this and all the required music. I'll put it on my todo list.

but yet, if the music is overlooked remix, everyone would complain about lyrics. Who wants to tell their 6 year old brother (or sister), "i'm sorry, but you cant watch me play because the music talks about how your being raped by your older brother (or sister), who is me."
