Luckily this community doesnt revolve around you. Please discuss the implementation of this aka an 'energizer' instead of being a 'sapper', the last thing we need is another usele spost ^_^.

Is this possible via lua?

I dont see a use for this ingame when we have the ability to zoom all the way out with icons, what does this add?

Really its just a zoomed out map with F1 pressed. Supcoms does look better though.

interesting... I would like to see this as an option for the minimap.. green for land and blue for water(red for damage water)

f1 view can be quite confusing, as there isnt a clear indicator of the actual height of the terrain, just where it is steep and where it is flat. An improved graphical representation of terrain's altitude would be good imo

coloured heightmap mode looks better for info but still, what smoth said would be a vast improvement.
