Hi i just thought that what we really need is a tutorial voor the new players. I know its possible using lua but is it also possible to get new players to start it up like a mod or something when they host? cause i dont feel like telling em everytime how to do stuff, or refering em to a website or whatever.

Well I once was in a choir(Then I had Voice 1(Or how do you say it)) after a while I was pronounced as Voice 2(which means harder)! Then I quit from the choir thinking that it will all end with a voice brake!
Now, being at age of 18, I could narrate just give me the text to speak! 8)

Documentation in 3 days? That's a bit steep Pendrokar.

And Zsinj, what kingdom do you have to offer? No one wants a Melbournian suburb!

My point - +1 for documentation.

if anyone is going to do tuts it has to someone involved with the mod that tut is about... A general spring tut using LUA won't work as each mod plays differently.

You have to tailor the tut to the mod esp now that LUA created buttons and abilities are gonna be added...

A general spring user guide should be done with text and pictures outside of the game simulation that details setting up spring and its content, basic UI components (resource bar, tooltip area, minimap, and command sheet) and the basic mouse controls.

yes though last i looked at it their were no pictures so forgive my ignorance, although i wish it didn't go into such detail in regards to XTA...

however in regards to LUA tutorials it will have to be mod dependment. A tut for BA will differ vastly from one for Gundam, NOTA, or KP. So reallly LUA tuts come down to either the mod maker on an interested third party making the tut for the mod.
