Rules like Dgun limited or com end have to be said !!!

I think there is a problem sometimes ... yesterday i was playing a deltasiege, the host had put "dgun limited" ... i didn't knew that and explose my com against 1 llt i wanted to dgun ...
When dgun limited or com end, 90% are fucking battles cause of some players don't know that ...
Ok, maybe i am stupid to dont saw the rules at beginning ... but when i saw the replay, the host was saying to his allies : "be carefull, dgun limited ..."
so it was the host strategy or what ?
Isn't it possible to show a warning mess at beginning when these rules are on ?

press D when comm is selected in game. If limit d-gun is on you will see a large white ring. Guess what that indicates?
BTW comm ends has huge flashing text at beginning of game, so if oyu miss that, you're just dumb. It's front and center and 500% more annoying than Emmanuel.

im not the only one man ... 50% of the players don't saw the infos at beginning, so 50% dont know when com end or dgun limited ...
Maybe u have had some code to see a warning message ...

Try the "i" key in-game, it's bound to the /gameinfo display by default.
LuaUI's related widget name is CommanderEnds.

What trepan said. Make it a point of pressing I before/at the start of every battle.
Though it's always funny (in an annoying way) when a small contingent of Flashes which you would normally have no trouble whatsoever dealing with swarms your boy and you're like "WTF WHEREZ MI DGUN"

A limited dgun widget could be made by copy and pasting most of the
CommanderEnds widget. You'd just need to swap the "Game.commEnds"
parameter with "Game.limitDGun", and move the text.

Ok ... i think its not ON by defaut cause i have never saw this !!!
And we are lot to be disapointed every day by a com end or dgun limited ignored ...
If u are host : try to say these rules at beginning for ALL not only for your allies !!!

I usually check it by pressing "I" at the start of game, but sometimes i forget, and then happens that same LLT kill, its so sad to look a com trying to escape few or one llt...

There is at least 3 different ways to check dgun limits, so prehaps look closer to home if you want someone to blame for not knowing if it's on or not.

mmmh ... but i always think a deltasiege for exemple to be not limited dung and not com end ... the two are so stupid on this map ...

Yeah... thats why i make such mistakes too, when im used to unlimited dgun at some map, then i forget to think about it.
Its just you forget something which is always true... its not stupid, its just human nature... We dont mistrust every thing what we are gonna do, its in the memory.
But yeah, in perfect world, you should of course remember to remember what you should mistrust and what you should not...
Such things happens to me in every game, but when it happens too many times in short time, i will remember to think about it.
In Spring that happens so rarely that i forget to think about it.

Its because i play like "warrior" ... my com is my best unit and i use it a lot ... he never stays in my base ... the exemple was at deltasiege i was dropping my com to the hill ... there was only 3 peewee and A llt ... and i have been pwnd :'(
It happend all the time for me when the dgun is limited cause i never make a battle without D-gun when i am under pressure ...
(i always forgot to see rules at beginning and i haven't got message like it has been said ...)
The true question is : "why limit D-gun ?" ... i think its for hosts who never expand ...

Its to stop people making an air lab at 3mins and dropping their com in your base and dgunning everything without any risk in com-continues games.
I just assume its going to be continues/limits if its a team game

I always battle either comm ends/unlimited d-gun or comm cont/limited d-gun... as Ishach says... othervice it's a great tactic to just drop your comm in the enemy base and d-gun everything... if you'r playing comm ends... there's a higher risk with that move...
