Complete Annihilation Beta 1 released!

Finished are the days in which you needed to dowload 3 alphas a day to play CA! We released a somewhat stable land balance beta.


The ongoing air rebalance is not included, and T2 turrets need work.

For the more adventurous, possibly broken alphas will still be released at the usual pace.

Beta 1 focuses on land. Only T1 and T2 non amphibious mobile land units have been balanced.

For modders: all the textures and custom explosions that are my work and are included are from now on in the public domain, which means there are no restrictions whatsoever on their use. The explosion scripts are all my work. The particle textures are not all mine, but they are sorted by license. Credits are in the /Docs folder of the archive.

not played yet but from the screenshots it seems to be the nicest bottle for the old TA-wine.

Screenshot replaced with Smoth's awesome peewee retexture on Rattle's model!

We are using Mr. D's Core Commander and solar collector, Zenka's flea and the Evolva models as well.

I havent played it yet, but based on the goals you have stated for the mod, the screenshots, and especially the videos (awesome air combat!) I definitely think I will <3 this mod.

look totally awesome !


I just fear many desync problems cause of the huge amount of fragments I can see with exploding land mine for exemple (but I may be wrong)

You couldn't made me more happy. btw, smoth textured it.

I've playtested some alphas. I like the gameplay. it's diffrent then the AA forks. I should go and play the beta.. hm...

this mod is crap, its just remade crap made by someone who is crap

why dont you all just play AA which has balance and coolfactor

these are all just poor mans AA's (CA, BA, GayA)

Quantum is a nub for even suggesting making this.

Hmmmm... Does anyone else think that the"Terra-forming"/craters caused by plasma weapons is a tad much. After a quick skirmish the area is very difficult to pass and sometimes almost rendered unusable.

They way it should be, adds depth, and not just on the map itself.

You mean "adds porc" by making the area impassable...

Also this mod obviously plays like crap. I've never played it but the screenshots look good so the gameplay must suck because no human or team could possibly balance a mod while still making it look good.
