Spring RTS Engine

well... I dled the game from the download page...played it and thought it was cool, downloaded more maps, put them in maps folder, played the game, but the maps didnt appear on the maps list....then...I Looked at screenshots here, and found that the screens are at differend angles..but I could only zoom in and out ...oh..and when I start the game..I dont know if this is supposed to be like this..but when I start I get like to choose from tests..like "scripttest" and "globalAI" test and so....

You can change camera mode by pressing ctrl+J or ctrl+middle mouse button.

As for the maps, did you use Internet Explorer for downloading them? If so, it may have renamed some of them to .zip. Rename them to .sdz and Spring should fine them.

Also, which installer did you download?

Did you keep all checkboxes enabled? (for multiplayer lobby especially, not really sure how it is called in the installer)

the map file is named "Crimson_Paradise.sd7" for example...

I dl the "Regular installer" ... about checkboxes..I dont know..but I re-install just in case:)

When you start spring.exe you get a list of test scripts, you should start TASClient.exe and launch a game from there.

or use springSP, see download page "external utilities"

yeah the springSP or whatever its named...cant use that...gives me an error....2 actualy...oh well..thankyou :) oh, 1 more question, where can I get an easyer AI >_>

actualy, 1 more thing... when I take control of player then mouse is verticaly inverted, any way to change that -.-
