I've no idea how many units have faces removed to reduce the poli count. but It's a lot.

Zenka yes because I do not know the concept of REMOVING HIDDEN faces. Ones that are in plain view should not be removed, so yeah the point stands :).

Well, for an engine where you can see the unit at different angles the hole can be highly unattractive. It will show up when a unit is going up or down hill and definitely show up for people like myself who play in fps cam.
