Lets start locking people instead of threads

There is some sort of massive never-ending self-spaming flamewar going on around here, and I get surprised how I didnt heard anything remotely similar to ( "Insert a troller name here" just got banned! ).
For that reason I suggest we stop locking threads (unleash they were offensive from start instead of being made offensive) and start locking people. (Ban)

On another forum I go to, rules were all heavily used. Most members in the days of posting got atleast 1 or 2. I got 2 myself, 1 for avoiding a filter , 2 becuase a mod didnt like me ( an admin removed it for me ). We could just give out warnings and like your 3rd or 4th would result in a ban.

We're all here just to have fun, although there is the occasional peice of E-Drama, no one really gets hurt at the end (unless you're a bit sensitive).
Are the flame wars really that bad? i think they give this forum a bazazz, a spark that no other forum has, and i prefere it over 2 serious posts a day that no one cares about.
When people say EE sucks or gundam sucks or XTA sucks or AA is evil, they don't mean it, they know about personal preference, they know people play for other reasons, it's all just good fun.
Ofcourse there is the occaisonal post that's made to hurt the forum, but those rare posts are pretty easy to detect and i havn't seen any remotly near to that for a long time.
To conclude, ban the trolls, and keep the funsters, but learn to know the difference between them.

how? The guy openly trolled hard. He also alienates everyone that tries to help him. Along topic titles talking about genitals and other profanities just to be abrasive.
