An OTA 1v1 which had at the peak, 2600 units alive at one point. The longest I can remember playing in was another OTA 1v1 lasting 1 hour 40.

The biggest (best, too) match I've ever played was a 5v5 on AD... what a brilliant game. Both teams were evenly matched, lasted about two hours. Had, I think, 3 specs, which was helpful because one of the players dropped and he got to take over.

Ended badly for my team because that spec turned out to be an ace player and the game was completely uphill from there. Even taking into account that he knew where everything was up until the time he started playing, he was d-e-a-d-l-y.

At the end, all five of us commbombed in a row to break through their defense, then airlifted a krogoth and about 30 sumos in but the krog got d-gunned just as it was about to blow up their biggest adv fusion farm and the sumos got hit by like 4 or 5 nukes right after they wiped out one player's base.

Too bad I don't have a replay, it was like a movie. :| It was on an older version though, you probably wouldn't be able to view it anyway.

A Gundam 4v4. Half the players crashed out at some point. I still have no idea how Boirunner managed to make so many people join. Anyway, it was 1.1 so it wasn't that good, I do think we were winning though.

Pshh, I've been in a 5+ hours long TA online game (with Dragon45). Yeah that's what you get with a no air rule on a 63x63 map. And many 3 hours long online TA games, such as this 8 FFA on another 63x63 map. I also rememember a (normal length) 5v5 TA game on greenhaven, which being unable to replay made me very disappointed. The interesting thing is that you'd think such long games turn into boring stalemate, while in practice they've been the most enjoyable games I played, with tons of surprise and tactics variety, and enthralling up to the end, while strings of 1v1 gpp/cc flash rush bores me after one hour.

As for Spring, I don't remember, but it seems team games get more populated in Spring than in TA. In PhoeniX WorX or GBL, 1v1 was the norm and team games the exception, but in Spring's lobby, it seems that as soon as a battleroom reach two players, it fills up quickly.

Oh, and just yesterday I had a 3v3 Kernel Panic Corruption on Direct Memory Access, while not extremely big on the playercount or ingametime, it still felt quite epic, with people hitting the 500 unit max and constant pressure on my hole.

Any chance you could host the reply of this? Sounds pretty interesting.

4vs4 EE match on Oki-river. I had the replay, but it's for an older Spring version anyway. Nemo lasted the longest of his team if I recall, and Fang took the water at the bottom and sent ships up the river, which clinched it, I think, as no-one could get to his sea factories. Some inventive mis-use of air transports was also involved :P

hahah awesome. I remember watching some team game with hellspawn and sleksa on a team and after like an hour of porc hellspawn started complaining about being bored and wanted to quit (also he couldn't build any cons because of that old bug, lol.)

if a game goes over an hour I usually call up my ISP and cancel my service, then renew it the next day.
