Modstack...

What do you think of Modstacks ?
The Idea behind is, that for example - having AA - you build in the T3 Kroglair a Gundamcom -> after the Game continues with the GundamUnits -> you are allowed to built a EE-Com in the Specialweaponsfactory... this way you could staple Mods, without the need to balance them..because they still mainly fight each Tech Opponent, just shorttime battles of Gundams vers Krog.. oder Gundam vers EE beginning Units...
Only thing that has to be added is some sort of Multiplyier for the Next Stack..
What do you think ?

T3? Wouldn't the game have to go on for some time to get that far? (let alone to reach EE stuff)

personally i'd stay at krogs and roll over the t1 EE opponnent

Sorry if i said it missunderstandable...
i ment AA is t1 t2 t3 Gundam is t4 t5 t6 EE t7 t8 t9 - that way you could have them inside the Game without big Blance issues - just every three Techlevels everything bring 3times the Metall, the Energy and so on...

The numbers will not work out, fang and I tried a gundam versus EE mutator and unless he was at a 50% handicap gundam rolled over ee. The Economy models, build speeds and the units stats are incompatible.
I would hate to see AA versus gundam because gundam players would out produce AA players.

compl33t i hate to break it to you budy, but krog spam would be easy for an EE player to deal with,, and lvl 1 EE units without rebalance vs AA there is a massive series of issues..
essentially STOP trying to merge mods it is about as fail as aruging which universe would beat some other universe..

It is merging Mod - but the Units wouldn meet... if both side would go tech 4..
tech 3 (Meaning AA) would become increasingly ineffective - and only Spaceconsuming... it was thought that simply a AA - Economy couldn`t support a EE-Factory... so you have to rebuilt your Base Part in Part... and finally it is just UCS verus GD - simply because the AA Units are inneffective - it is to sum it up like playing three games after each other on the same Map - with diffrent Mods..
And yes Gundam would overpower AA simply because even the lowest LeveUnits would be worthwise on T4 so Zaku killing Krog in 1:1 should be no surprise...

Heh, mod stapling...
maybe, one after another, on the same map, would work - like you start with BA, the wrecks and gamestate remain; only all the living units go and both players get all their metal/energy cost back, and then suddenly Gundam pops up, same thing happens, and then as a finale, everyone plays KP on same map same state, just get all m/e back from living units that vanish.

picasso, gundam versus ba and EE both went like this... gundam won. It really wouldn't work trust me.

But Gundam would always fight against other Gundams, just in the Teer Changes for short Times against the previeous Used Mod..
It is like having no long Turn Chance with Level 2 Units against somebody who has Krogs as Pws... they would need to tech up - and back is the Balance..

You mean other mods units cant hurt other mods units? only the same mod units only?
Umm, why? It makes no sense, like why i would build other mods commanders when my enemy has different mod commander, so i cant hurt him!
OR did you mean that when you are dead, you are allowed to build next mods commander, and then... wtf. i just lost it.

No i meant that one BuiltTree is set upon the other - and so you have not t3 to go and then it is finnished - you can built the Comander of the Next Mod in the Krog-Lair - and the Mod is Numberwise t4 - and so overpowered are its units..

The Reason why the Mods will finally not End up AA vs GD or GD vs EE is simply they would be seperated by Power and Value... If every single GundamUnit is Worth a Krog from AA-Perspective - everyone will have to go t4 once a single player has reached it...

Nobody would actually have time to build those, if they are all so costy.
This means its better to not include other mods units, because then you need to have 3 times more movementclasses, which makes maps loading speed 3 times slower (with 2 new mods).
