Ati and Vista is a surefire desaster.

Vista sp1 isnt due till later this year.

And ATI drivers for Vista + OpenGL are not very good at all. You'd be better off with nvidia atm.

Vista +

ATI and DX9, or DX10 VERY GOOD!! +++++

trust me, I have them running together flawlessly and its like, omfgwftwow improvement...

but OpenGL... uueehhhh eeemmm its ... overall better FPS on agerage if you mathematically averaged them.. yes... but, IT IS STUTTERY AS HELL!!!... they need to get that fixed... its something to do with the emulator loading and dumping memory faster than it needs to, or not fast enough or something... Vista does an AMAZING job paging, and purging the active memory and freeing up memory leaks... but ugg, its hell on OpenGL and ATI :P

again though, ATI and Vista, is NOT disaster.. hell, all the games work on ATI, some, on nVidia, don't work at all, Test Drive Unlimited for example.. :P

Just remember, the 8xxx series cards are a huge deperature form conventional gpu design and ATI is still working with previous generation gfx cards, they have it easy by a longshot.
