Spring RTS Engine

I was on the lobby this morning, I was just getting up to get a drink and I noticed a good game open up, I quickly turned and grabbed the mouse so I could enter and claim the last spot...and someone stabbed me right in the shoulder... well not really but it felt like someone did. I put my back out! surfing the spring lobby. doah!

I don't know exactly what Iv'e done but seeing as I can't take a deep breath as it hurts too much and I had to get my girlfriend to put my socks and shoes on before helping me into the car, I think it's pretty bad. ^^

Ive done kickboxing, downhill mountain biking, snowboarding and judo for years and nothing, no injuries worse than a fat lip!

As a result of my spring addiction I'm now lying in bed covered in heat patches to help relieve my pain lol.
Nobody has asked me how I did it yet, but I'm sure as hell not telling them I put my back out playing video games that's for sure.

Anyone else have any spring related injuries?

Once I was hit from behind my an annoyed freind while playing Spring. He used a cricket bat, I belive.


Not sure if that counts, but it might.

I have carpal, but it existed before Spring.

when i used to play wow I was a priest and we were in a boss fight and I was clipping my fingernails while we were just starting

Then i dropped the little heavy pocket knife scissors point first into my other hand and i was bleeding all over the place and everyone on ventrillo was yelling at me for not healing them while i was going "aaaaaaaaaaaaah i just cut my hand"

I was loading up a map for the first time in tasclient not to long ago, and I reached down to scratch my knee, my fingernail caught on the leg of my desk, and a very large chunk of wood went all the way to the back underneath my fingernail.

Thank god for shock, so even though I knew what happened it didn't hurt too badly until I pulled it out. The splinter was about 3/4ths of an inch long, and about an 8th inch thick. It was extremely painful, somewhat akin to bamboo shoots under the fingernails ;p

Ask fang or smoth, I'm sure they remember. I was cussing up one hell of a storm on Teamtalk

yeah, iirc fang and I were loling hard.

Sience has proofed that Video Games (at least in Hospital Testseries) help to endure pain, even forget about them. So what to do if injured by Spring ?

Broke my toe on a doorframe while walking back to my desk.

When isaac stopped playing 2v2's with me, that broke my... heart.
